Creative Activities for Children and Young People
Inclusive creative opportunities in Kirkby, Prescot and across Knowsley, designed to build confidence, spark ideas and bring young people together.
A place to explore and grow
Alara is developing theatre, music, comedy, visual arts and collaborative projects for children and young people. Programmes will be announced when suitable venues, funding, delivery arrangements and safeguarding requirements are confirmed.
Perform
Drama, acting, storytelling, comedy and performance workshops.
Create
Visual arts, design, hands-on making and collaborative projects.
Develop
Confidence, teamwork, communication, leadership and creative skills.
Confidence, creativity and connection
Creative participation gives young people room to express themselves, try something new and discover strengths that may not always be visible in the classroom. No previous arts training should be needed to take part.
Safe and inclusive
Safeguarding, supervision, accessibility and age guidance will be built into delivery. Consent, booking and participation arrangements will always be explained clearly.
For families and organisations
Parents, carers, young people, schools, colleges and youth organisations are welcome to register interest in future activities.
